Up for sale is one 33 - 36 GHz Millimeter Wave Klystron Microwave Signal Generator Oscillator featuring the
Raytheon QK291 Klystron Tube.
This SHF Oscillator has been
Meticulously Cleaned and Tested
and has been upgraded with a
New Electrolytic and film capacitors as well as a new B+ resistor divider chain.
This mm wave signal generator is tunable between
33.52 - 36.25 GHz
and is capable of up to 18 mW of output power from the waveguide located on the front of the unit. This unit is capable of producing a CW or square wave output from the oscillator had was tested using a Gunn Diode placed in front of the waveguide.

Unfortunately I do not have the proper test equipment to measure the frequency or the power output of this Signal Generator but it does show a strong signal measured with the Gunn Diode. This Klystron Oscillator is an interesting piece of history and is an excellent working example of klystron tubes. This Klystron Signal Generator is
