This auction is for an antique German
HEADLESS
Early 1900s "FLORODORA"
little girl doll.
THE STITCHING OF THE LEATHER ON THE NECK OF THE DOLL HAS BEEN UNDONE
(POSSIBLY TO REMOVE THE BROKEN HEAD)
BUT THE FLAP IS INTACT & NOT TORN!
Structure & Composition:
Kid-skin (goat) skin leather over a packed sawdust body.  Doll has screw-secured joints at the elbows, shoulders, hips & knees.
Condition:
TORSO, ARMS & LEGS ONLY, NO HEAD!
In very good condition with intact label & intact leather covered body.  No major damage aside from some corrosion on the joint screws.  The shoulder screw on one (1) arm has broken through the leather.  The screws on that arm are NOT original, but the others appear to be original.  ONLY ONE (1) LEATHER SHOE & IT IS CRACKED ALONG THE SOLE.  Dress is dusty & in need of cleaning; but is not torn & button snaps are still firmly in place.  Any flaws will be either written about in the condition sections OR visible in the photos.  Therefore, you must examine ALL of the photos carefully as photos often illustrate the item's condition better than any words can.  Remember that the photos constitute part of the overall description of the item's listing.  Please read the description completely & carefully view all photos BEFORE buying or making an offer.
