    We offer a hand blown Wayne Husted designed Blenko glass pitcher in Nile green with an applied handle in Persian blue. The pitcher is shown in the 1959 catalogue as No. 598-S (small) 11" Pitcher. The pitcher is marked with the copyright Blenko acid mark used from Spring 1958 to Summer 1961. The color Nile was only in production in 1959. The color Persian and Turquoise were both used in 1959 but Persian appears darker than Turquoise. The pitcher measures 11 5/8" in height, 6 1/4" in width to handle, 5 1/2" across the top, and 4 1/8" in diameter at the base.
    Minor air bubbles and one small frit in glass on side as seen in the photographs. Free of chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
