    According to William H Blenko Jr, this coaster was produced in 1958 to honor his father, William H Blenko Sr.
    A group of glass companies, including Blenko, subsidized the research and construction of a working reproduction of the first glass furnace in America at Jamestown VA. In 1958 this coaster was a party favor for a party at Guyan Country Club honoring William Blenko Sr for his leadership role in this effort.
