    Description

    What a FANTASTIC FIND for you BLENKO COLLECTORS with this
    LARGE HAND BLOWN FREE FORM 13 3/4" VASE
    that has the
    MANY hand applied PRUNTS
    and the weight is
    MONUMENTAL being 5 POUNDS & 11 OUNCES.
    Looking back at the old catalogs ... MOST of this type was Early ... as in the 1950's or Earlier .. BUT ....
    TRYING THE BEST THAT I COULD to MATCH the CORRECT COLOR
    ....I came up with
    PINE
    ... that was only made in 1974 (FOR THIS TYPE).  My second "guess" was
    NILE and that was made in 1959
    .   I am just not expertise enough to definitively define the color. In the Estate it had been STORED IN THE BASEMENT for many years .... WHICH makes me go to the EARLY dating.  Also... as photos are taken and put on eBay ... color DOES change ... looking at my photos ... to me.. the better matching color would be in photos #5 - #6 as the First Three ... to me... show DEEP GREEN and when held to the light ... JUST NOT DEEP GREEN... You Experts perhaps will know the exact answer ..
    I AM JUST THE "MESSENGER" ... so buy this VASE FOR WHAT YOU THINK!
