VINTAGE COMPLETE SET OF 9 SCENIC POSTCARDS SHOWCASING PORT DEPOSIT, MD + 1 OF CONOWINGO DAM
This is a vintage set of postcards that look to be from around the 1930's. It is a complete set of 9 scenic postcards that showcase the landmarks of Port Deposit, Maryland. Also included is a 10th postcard featuring the nearby Conowingo Dam. The 9 card set from Port Deposit are numbered 1-9 on the fronts  and were published by the Del Mar News Agency out of Wilmington, DE. The first postcard is captioned "Main Street Looking South, Port Deposit, Md." It shows numerous multi-colored cars and old gas signage from the main street. The second postcard shows "The Susquehanna River at Port Deposit, Md.". The third card shows "Tome School and Mansion House, Port Deposit, Md.". The fourth postcard shows the "Tome Steps, Port Deposit, Md.". The fifth card shows "The Tome Memorial Methodist Church, Port Deposit, Md.". The sixth card shows the old shipyard and reads, "Wiley Equipment Co., Port Deposit, Md.". The seventh card shows "Port Deposit Quarries Co., Port Deposit, Md.". The eighth card shows "St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Port Deposit, Md.". The ninth card reads, "Greetings from Port Deposit MD." and shows the pictures from the previous 8 postcards in the lettering. The 10th postcard features the nearby "Conowingo Dam and Power House near Bel Air and Havre de Grace, Md.". This postcard was made by The Harry P. Cann & Bro. Co., out of Baltimore, MD.
